Kick, Punch, Comfort

Isolation.
Stress.
Absentmindedness.
Fear.
Distraction.
Not the best of days.
Or week.
Failure.
Challenges. 
Weakness.
Sometimes tears.

But…

I sit still.
Breathe.
Then a bump.
A tap. A wave.
A “hey here I am.”

Small one,
I move forward
for you.

Focus shift
to good,
to comfort,
to do what can be done,
and find a way,
a remedy,
some outside strength
within.
