I think I need to read Fast Food Nation again. Every once in awhile, I feel the need for McDonald’s food. After several years of not eating at the fast food giant, a couple of months ago, the husband picked up a couple of burgers and fries for lunch. Since then, about every other week, I think about heading for the McDonald’s drive thru. Thank goodness I don’t always go get that crap food every time I crave it. If I did, I’d probably be further out of my ideal weight range than the current 14 pounds. I only allow it once during the week of my period. That’s it. The rest of the month, I find other ways to self-destruct my weight loss progress. Like birthday cake. Birthday cake with chocolate chips. Damn my sweet tooth!
