So…Vegas

pricey hotel water I have now officially ventured further west than Madison, Wisconsin. See, I am expanding my horizons.

At first I wasn’t so sure about this trip. It was a week after returning home from the motherland, and I was going all by myself. I arranged my own hotel room (and rearranged after the first arrangement fell through), as well as various modes of transportation. Fortunately for me, I arranged to travel with a few collegues, so it wasn’t hard to just follow along, or, as Mom would say, “go with the flow.”

The conference turned out to be a pretty good time. I met a lot of people, including the owners and higher-ups in the company. And I don’t really want to talk too much business on here right now, but I do just have to say that every single person I spoke with couldn’t have been more genuine and sincere; they were all so glad to be part of this thing, and I just found my respect for this company and my confidence in it growing more and more. The other agents who were there were also very beautiful people: like Angela, Henry, Craig, Brad, Barbara, Brenda, Victor, Warren, and Don; all the people that I already knew a little bit but got to know better by spending time with them outside of business; and all of the people with names my slipery mind has failed to retain. It was a pleasure, and I hope that we all meet again. Hooters Bus

I did get to see a little bit of the strip. Everything is so huge in Vegas. There are so many lights and it all goes up so high. I caught the end of the water show at the Bellagio, ate “flying crab” at New York New York, and doubled my money on a slot machine. Yes, I turned five dollars into ten, folks. So you see, dreams can come true.

It might have been nice to see a little bit more of the place, but it’s not really a place for me. I’m shocked that I was able to go and do all that I did do, seeing as how I have the tendancy to just stay in a room and look out a window. Onto the roof of the adjacent building…what a view. But I’m sure I’ll get there again anyway. Maybe go see some dancing girls. Or some other equally naked show.
